Hoglium Bike

Hoglium bikes, or colloquially called "hogs", are personal transports that use artificial gravity generators to exert downward force to float above a surface. These generators can be angled by the pilot to accelerate, decelerate, turn, or potentially even flip the vehicle.

Early designs of hover bikes used small engines, but they were damaging to the ground beneath the engine, and fuel was costly. Later designs used motor-driven propellers and electrical energy, however they ran out of charge quickly, making long trips impractical. The discovery of hoglium lead to the modern design, which still uses battery power, but is able to maintain its energy due to ambient charging panels and the mitigating properties of deteriorating hoglium.

Hog bikes are expensive and rarely used when motor vehicles would serve equally well, however they are favored by surface police, racers, and scouts. Additionally, there is a growing hobbyist community that enjoys the modification and decoration of bikes.
