Hurlbat-class Gunship

The Hurlbat-class gunship is Golbersson Starforge's first foray into the fighter market.

What is less publicized is the fighter's performance. While it houses less weaponry than its competitor, the Epineth, its power grid and cooling systems allow sustained use of its weapon systems. Additionally, the underslung hardpoints can be replaced with torpedo magazines, allowing the Hurlbat to be refitted as a heavy bomber.

It can seat up to three crew members, two of whom operate from gunner stations on each wing. A single pilot may still utilize the weapon systems, and rudimentary helms are available to each gunner, creating a built-in redundancy that helps keep the Hurlbat operating even with reduced crew.

The Hurlbat is one of the least popular additions to the fighter market. Upon its unveiling, it was widely panned for its appearance and a common joke is to pantomime a violent gag instead of referencing its name. Designers insist that name is neither a reference to vomit nor bats and is instead the name of an ancient throwing axe.
