The Quivis System was developed by Biddy Teckmaker and Jeda Thekfad, two weapon developers under contract from the Schematic for Cosmic Order. Its strategic position bordering the burgeoning Gor Adukk Ma, and its lack of other valuable resources meant that Teckmaker and Thekfad could experiment with little restraint while intimidating the nearby GAM systems. In some ways, this worked, establishing a clear line between GAM and SCO territory that has never seen active combat aside from the occasional Gozmosh accident. However, in other regards, it has backfired, resulting in SCO technologies being traded to the GAM.
