Eddom
Eddom system
The Eddom system was originally observed from telescopes on Blimnor. Orbiting its yellow star was a rocky terrestrial planet that was given the name Eddom Prime, and as the then Blimnorians began to discuss the eventuality of colonizing other worlds, considered it the closest and most likely planet discovered to do so. It is also host to a second planet with no interesting features as well as a comet whose periapsis is well beyond that of any other body in the system. Eddom Prime has the largest metropolis in the Exodian Sector.

Eddom Prime
Eddom Prime was the first Exodian colony established. While Eddom Prime boasts the largest metropolis and the greatest racial diversity, it is also noted for its poverty, crime, and crumbling infrastructure. While the planet appears barren from orbit, it is host to a variety of biodiversity, most notably its brown shrubs and succulents that become bioluminescent at night. Dense regions of these plants has led to the amusing nighttime illusion that causes the surface to appear to be covered in urban development.

Eddom Prime City is still considered by some to be a beautiful city. While it is true that its long history affords it great variety in culture, architecture, art, and industry, it is also a beauty built on decay. The upper city is a shiny archipelago of wealthy penthouses built above the smog layer, but the foundations those are built upon are deep concrete projects where crime and corruption are rampant, or crumbling prefabricated structures inherited from the first colonists. Due to a century of terraforming, the city experiences frequent rainfall. Though the deeper the precipitation travels, the more pollution it absorbs, and by the time it reaches the denizens of the ground levels, it is toxic to the touch.
