Fawn System is home to planet Othop and its orbiting research station for studying the subterranean ecosystem. Orbiting closer to the star is the unexplored world Nuoptet, named for an ancient sand elf king. The system is also guest to a comet.

The featureless surface confused early explorers because it sustained a breathable atmosphere, however research stations discovered a complex network of caverns covered in oxygen-producing grasses. The atmosphere generated in the subterranean tunnels rises above the surface and supports a number of small animals and larger predators.
Additionally, the substance known as jumpjuice can be extracted by pockets of liquid in the planet's crust.
