Janissary-class Battleship

The Janissary-class battleship is the largest exodian spacecraft in existence. While the Urchagom castle stations orbiting Gor Adukk Ma stronghold worlds are longer, the Janissary boasts far greater armament and is self-propelled, effectively making any system it makes orbit with into a stronghold.

To discuss its weaponry is largely a question of what didn't they include, ranging from multishot and rapid-fire coilguns, cluster-bomb plasma cannon, convergent energy beam emitters, and fields of torpedo silos. The gap between the forward mandibles has been justified by the chief designer as "Where we will mount the really big gun once we invent it."

In addition to its weaponry, the Janissary has dorsal and ventral hooded bays for fighter craft, shuttles, and corvettes. Exterior docks can accommodate other capital ships even including destroyers.

Nearly every square meter of the battleship is protected by layers of armor, and engineers have boasted that the engine bells have to withstand so much heat that if they could have made the ship out of the same material, it could fly straight through a star.

Hyperbole aside, the Janissary is likely the most powerful spacecraft ever built and it clearly designed to win wars on a scale that has never before been waged.
