The Dao School Xenoastrology and Astronavigation produces a surprising number of the best navigators in charted space. Many of these graduating students studied without participating in The Family's belief system, however, many more are devout advocates of the system of xenoastrology. Students are encouraged to live off-campus at the Lichaguntu colony, or spend their break periods relaxing at the Overlook station and observe as the two short-period comets flare up with brilliant flashes as they cross into the outer-system's radiation belt.
