Gullgraver-class Miner

Before the Gullgraver-class miner, most of its cousins transported fragments of asteroids for refinement elsewhere.

Golbersson Starforge considered this highly inefficient and designed a miner with built-in refinement machinery, allowing for minerals to be ground and sorted into separate raw mineral storage containers on the ship's broadside's. These containers can be removed and replaced easily.

Golbersson Starforge won an industry award for indirectly increasing the efficiency of the raw material refinement industry.

The mining beams, hoglium scoops, and refinement process produce a lot of heat, so specialized radiators are built into the aft section.
