Exodus-class Generation Ship

As climate concerns on Blimnor mounted, the Multinational Astronautical Research and Manufacturing Association, consisting of gnome, orc, human, and elf space agencies began to research the option of abandoning blimnor and colonizing a different planet.

While other planets in the Blim system had already been visited, a few of which had permanent bases, it was determined that the only viable planets for settlement would be in a system several lightyears away.

To overcome the limitations of slower-than-light travel and biological lifespans, it was decided that the best solution would be to build an enormous spacecraft that could keep its crew alive over the hundred years it would take to cross the gap between Blim and their destination. This could be achieved using a combination of artificial gravity, hydroponics, and cryostasis.

The product of this collaboration was the Exodus-class generation ship. By today's rating, the ship would not be considered a frigate at largest, however considering that thousands of passengers could be kept alive in stasis while automated systems took care of general operations, its payload was far more impressive by comparison.

The only remaining ship of this class still in existence is the Exodus 1 museum ship still in orbit around Exodus Prime. The rest of them were gradually disassembled, scavenged, or in the case of Exodus 18, crashed into the star by an escaped elven mental patient.
