Gor Adukk Ma

On the fringes of civilized space, fleets of Orc explorers convened to discuss ancient philosophies. Among them was the Adukk, or “warfeel”. Orcs believe that in times of war, the Adukk is like a muscle in the mind. With practice, it becomes stronger, more powerful. But in times of peace, the Adukk settles, becomes weak and with it evaporates the wisdom to make important decisions about the fate of great civilizations. The Orcs conclude that relative peace of the galaxy enforced by the Schematic for Cosmic Order is a dangerous one, breeding complacency, weakness, and stupidity. If there arises a great threat to the races of Blimnor, there must be a great navy of warriors prepared both for glorious battle, and great sacrifice. So the Gor Adukk Ma was formed.

Today the Gor Adukk Ma rivals the Schematic for Cosmic Order in military might, but to the confusion of much of the galaxy, has only ever declared civil war with itself. This is not due to any real conflict, but instead serves as a constant drill to maintain a massive battle-ready navy should it ever be required. Aside from minor skirmishes along their borders, the Gor Adukk Ma have never turned their forces against any other people, but the rest of the galaxy lives in constant fear that some day that the great fleets will change their mind.

Gradually, the Gor Adukk Ma has recruited from other races, and among them elves who claim that indeed, the deep space telescopes have seen dark and unfathomable shapes moving across the pinpricks of distant stars. There is something out there.

Core Values

Strength

We must be powerful and ruthless, to bring the enemy to their knees and to protect the innocent from harm.

Unity

It is crucial that we share the same vision, whether it is one of deadly purpose or noble intent, else we divide ourselves.

Sacrifice

We must each be ready to put our wealth, dignity, and flesh on the line to carry out our mission.

Political Structure

The Gor Adukk Ma is a federal military stratocracy. Each federal state is named after their ancient tribe and rules a particular region of space including multiple systems. The Supa Tribes all answer to the Supa Commander who oversees the military, disputes between tribes, and foreign correspondence.

Each Supa Tribe is responsible for their civilians, construction projects, infrastructure, building an army, and civil order. Each Supa Tribe chieftain also serves in the High Command, a council presided over by the Supa Commander.

The Supa Tribes of the Gor Adukk Ma are:

    • Batsh Tribe of Ethaokok

    • Neidga Tribe of Yugadapam

    • Skaaj Tribe of Bluadroc

    • Redg Tribe of Aklyam

    • Barak Tribe of Elemor

    • Prupa Tribe of Zlaetrix

    • Tarak Tribe of Taraki Noka

    • Yukka Tribe of Strabdoog

    • Souk Tribe of Xeotrah

Minor Tribes include:

  • Shalug Tribe of Shalug

  • Thegawa Tribe of Acheekke

  • Groush Tribe of Ehuadsips

  • Balg Tribe of Ehuadsips

  • Falhk Tribe of Falhk

  • Jooka Tribe of Juant

  • Grusspa Tribe of Mabilu

  • Ukaet Tribe of Ukaetlush

  • Chargush Tribe of Vriuft

Gor Adukk Ma soldiers may voluntarily enlist, be commissioned by High Command or the Supa Commander, or be "Called into Adukk", which is a form of conscription that is considered a form of intervention for socially deviant citizens. After serving their first tour, a soldier carves themselves a Chtacha totem, signifying that they are a healthy and virile soldier.

Totems in the Gor Adukk Ma are similar to medals, except that they are carved by the soldier and self-awarded to signify a deed, accomplishment, self-discovery, personal affinity, or spiritual affirmation. Before carving a totem, a soldier should seek the approval of a friend, comrade, or leader to confirm the significance. Totems are never awarded to a soldier from their officer, but an officer may order their inferior to award themselves a particular totem. This is considered a great honor. While totems are culturally significant to orcs, any member of the Gor Adukk Ma may participate in the practice regardless of race.

The Gor Adukk Ma uniform is burgundy for enlisted and conscripted soldiers, blue for commissioned officers, and black for the Supa Commander. The salute is a full-body muscle flex, with the expectation that the amount of effort and flex is directly proportional to rank. The flex may be supplemented with a noise of exertion, such as a grunt, growl, bark, scream, or shriek, but not a moan, whimper, gasp, fart, or belch.

While the Gor Adukk Ma is synonymous with its navy, it is important to note that ships designated as GAMN are warships, which distinguishes them from the designation GAM which may be civilian ships supporting the Navy.

The Gor Adukk Ma Navy is synonymous with their government and are its formal military.

Gor Adukk Ma Marines

The Gor Adukk Ma Marines are the quintessential soldiers. Feared for their legendary skill at marksmanship, hand-to-hand combat, and tactical efficiency, they are similarly admired for their glorious exploits and intimidating armor. However, what the average exodian rarely understands is that the Marines are frequently raw recruits or conscripted convicts, and as such are always riding the line between their trained professionalism and ingrained bloodlust. Still, they say that even upon leaving the service, you never stop being a Marine, and most can be recognized in civilian clothes by the way they stand, walk, speak, and observe. This is enshrined in their motto: "Never slip, never sleep, never surrender."

Specializations

Assault Marines are distinguished by the XE SupaRuk helmets, medium armor, and KITE shields. They are commonly equipped with plasma rifles, plasma pistol, melee weapon, and assortment of grenades. Assault marines are also extensively trained in field medicine, being capable of treating both their comrades and themselves for severe injury.

Wolf Marines serve as covert ops, trained to work alone or in small teams, they wear tactical head mounted displays and thermoptic camoflauge suits. They are equipped with suppressed coilgun rifles, suppressed plasma pistols, melee weapons, and a variety of tweaking and counter-tech equipment.

Eagle Marines are soldiers trained and equipped to be deployed behind enemy lines, or into unknown situations with little support. They are usually equipped with XE SupaRuk helmets, but trade their medium armor for a light-weight variant as well as a hoglium descent pack or maneuver suit. Normally armed with plasma rifles or coilgun rifles, they typically bring flipknives as well as an assortment of survival equipment.

Supa Marines are highly totemed warriors who wear customized powered heavy armor, often scant on actual armor plating to display the warpaint on the marine's body. The powered armor frame allows them to wield KITE shields, powerhammers, plasma cutters, or heavy rotary guns with a weightless ease, making them one of the most feared soldiers in the GAM.

Bloodwall Guard

The Bloodwall Guard is a fleet belonging to the Gor Adukk Ma Navy whose sole assignment is to monitor and defend against any hostile alien threat that might invade the Graad Ak Sektor.

The fleet's home base is heavily fortified castle station in orbit around planet Hu Tarr of the Taraki Noka system. It is run by the uneasy Commander Tisualla and their harsh philosophy.

While the Bloodwall Guard consists of most the same technology and spacecraft as the rest of the Gor Adukk Ma, its infantry come from a much more diverse and colored background. Many are disgraced soldiers come to serve the remainder of their life in exile, while others are convicts offered an alternative to a death sentence. Many others are undisciplined enthusiasts eager to indulge their psychopathic hobbies where any able-bodied soldier is welcome. The Bloodwall Guard even attracts a variety of foreigners such as refugees, outlaws, or people who believe strongly in the inevitability of an extraexodian threat.

While it remains under the command of the Gor Adukk Ma, the Bloodwall Guard is granted authority by the Pan Exodian Accord to compel other exodian governments to contribute their military should they be able to prove a credible alien invasion.

Demographics

The Gor Adukk Ma was originally an exclusively orc organization. Not only was it founded by disparate orc tribes, but it in essence served as a form of cultural preservation for ancient orc values. Over time, though, their well-organized military, brutal training regimens, and legendary battles attracted members of other races who shared in the hunger for glory.

In particular, the Gor Adukk Ma appealed to elven desire for self-improvement and honor, dwarven respect for strength and tradition, and even gnomish fascination with tactics and logistics.
